What documentation is needed to trade-in my car?

3. Roadworthy Condition (RWC) and service logbooks, if available.
(These will be examined the day of delivery)

Do you accept cars with personalised number plates?
We're happy to take cars with personalised number plates. All owners of the customised licence plates must be present at the inspection to sign the transfer documents. Before trading in your car with CCM, if you want to keep your customised licence plates, you must go to your local registration office to exchange them for a standard licence plate.
When we inspect your vehicle, the new number plate must match the registration certificate.
Do you accept Trade-ins for a car under finance?
We do, but before we can pick up the car you're trading in, you'll need to pay off the balance owed on it.
We will accept your car as part of a trade-in as long as the finance check clears before the planned pickup.
Do you accept unregistered cars?
We do, but we'll need to see any earlier registration records in your name from Australia.
Will Cheap Cars Melbourne honour the trade-in price?
Your receipt from CCM for a trade-in value is good for three days. If the information you entered was accurate, the appraisal won't
change.
We will accept the vehicle provided that:
